Politicians, executives, PR people and journalists share a love for numbers. Because if the numbers support your argument, you must be right. This is true if you know how to play with numbers to trick your audience. Comparability? Only if it helps my argument. Representability? That’s overrated. Correlation? That’s the same as Causality.
