Following D:Pulse, IAB Switzerland presented the Digital Marketing Awards for the seventh time on February 22. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Saas-Fee for winning “Digital Marketer of the Year” and Jennifer Kahn for the title of “Digital Newcomer of the Year”.
For the very first time, a prize for “Digital Agency of the Year” was awarded. IAB Switzerland grants this award to an agency that demonstrates cutting-edge technology, outstanding economic performance and state-of-the-art advertising methods. We would like to congratulate all the agencies we were privileged to be nominated alongside: Equipe, Jung von Matt/impact, Namics and Futurecom interactive – congratulations! The nominees and winner are selected by the board members, expert client members and expert agency members of the IAB Switzerland Association, as well as the board members, the Digital Committee and the Media Group of the Schweizer Werbe-Auftraggeberverband (SWA), and the board members of the Leading Swiss Agencies (LSA).
It is a great pleasure to see Webrepublic win the honor of being the “Digital Agency of the Year”. In particular, I am delighted that IAB Switzerland has explicitly recognized our commitment in the field of Programmatic Advertising. I am convinced that this topic will continue to be significant to the industry in 2017.
I would like to offer my personal thanks to those who have accompanied and supported me over the last seven years. Being honored with the “Digital Lifetime Award” by IAB Switzerland speaks to the amazing support I’ve received from my family, my friends, my team and last but not least, my competitors, who have helped keep me on my toes.
