The Chinese market offers great potential for Swiss companies: Swiss products in general are known for their high quality and standards which are very important to Asian consumers. This has lead to an increased investment of Swiss companies in the Chinese market. However, China's consumers think and behave differently to Europeans. To avoid pitfalls when entering the Chinese digital market, it's crucial to be aware of challenges, such as cultural differences, the Chinese mindset, and various regulations.
In this lab we will showcase different examples of companies that entered the Chinese digital market, illustrating do's and dont's and summarizing best practices for entering the Chinese market successfully.
